Large Picture Comments: This aircraft is a full scale flying replica of the 1932 Gee Bee Racer. Built in 1996 by Delmar R. Benjamin, the aircraft carries the livery of the original aircraft. These aircraft were a big hit on the air racing circuit of the time but were known to be difficult to fly.

Large Picture Comments: Constructed in 1929, this Travel Air B-4000 was acquired by the museum in 1996 where it was restored to flying condition. In 1997, this aircraft was used by the United States Postal Service to help commemorate the first day of issue of a series of aeroplane stamps.
