Abbeyshrule Air Shows in the mid '70s had something very similar.  Except the rubbing the wing tips of the ground bit ! Even used the Piper Cub.  Racking my brain to remember who flew the stunt, possibly one of the van Lonkhuyzen brothers.   :duh:

A few hours sitting in The Rustic Inn might help me remember !  Suspect Ted McGoey, Dave Bruton or Brian Dillon have the answer.

Im only 26 but i remember this at Abbeyshrule Airshows in the 90's with Col Crackshot shooting plates from the Aircraft!
