Are the aer corps AB139 actually on the production line yet and if so would anyone know what stages they are at?

Strange that only 270 had floatation gear,perhaps the guys in 271 are good swimmers

Would weapon selection be done by switches on throttle or stick (hotas like).On a related topic,are the aer corps PC9's equipped with drop tanks,I was reading an article about slovenia's PC9's and with drop tanks they do up to 7hr missions during PFP excersises,enough to make your eyes water.

Has anybody any information if the AB139 will be delivered,wired for self defence measures ,flares,IRCM etc.I dont mean actually supplied with a system fitted ,but with the provision for defence measures to be fitted at a later date.

Great pics frank,by the way are the A/C using a new flight suit,the one in the pics and on the story on nationwide this evening look a new type very like the US army type.maybe I'm wrong

Regarding the mig29/Su 27 I think that came from a picture of an air corps pilot sitting in a mig 23/27 or 29 at an IAT in fairford,thats as much as there was ever to it.
Re the alpha jets,there were german alphas at every air show here for most of the 80's/90's which may have started the alpha jet story.
The story of the poor aero salesman has some truth in it,they were bursting a gut to sell L39/L59 to the A/C.

The garda Ec135 was in kidlington(some where in england) today with an Ec145 D-HMBM with Ec 145 titles on it's side.Is this the heli that was on trials.

Saw a formation of 1xCN235,1XBK200 and 2 SF260's today about 1 am to the east of weston.They did 2 or 3 passes at about 1000 feet .
Any ideas on what they were doing
