I think this is the most appropriate location for this post..

Does anyone know any shops in Dublin that sell air band radios/scanners?,(not a fan of buying over the web).Any help would be great,thanks,

Maplin in Jervis Street or CQ Communications on the quays do them.

There is also South-East Communications in Waterford who carry a wide range of comms equipment. http://www.sec.ie/

By the way I and others of my acquaintance have bought radios through EBay and have paid a lot less than Irish list prices. It's a matter of personal choice as to what route you want to go.
