Check this mighty twin Browning in observer cockpit - fiction, perhaps, but looks great. Whole article on building process, painting, etc. will be published on WSMC web page in the end of April...

I know it's a very thin ice - but it is not a grey it is aluminium  'yikes'

Nice model of the Lysander. Do you want to make any changes to it ? Sorry but its that minefield again !!! I am not aware that brownings were carried in the rear position. The fuselage boss should be with the green leading (if possible) ie reversed, and the 20 inch stripes closer to the wing tip. The orange ends where the curve of the wingtip begins. If you decide to add the white square to the fuselage boss (from 1942 on ) then the fuselage camouflage ceases to be wrap around. HTH don't lose heart! attachments may help.

There is "old" modelling saying, that all referencies you need appears after you've finnished your model. But that's one of many parts of this hobby and this is what I like. There is always something new and there is always reason to built more...
I know, that this piece of "smelly plastic" isn't perfect, actually none of my models is, I can tell you quite a few things I am not sure of, or are not truly represented. One of them is this twin Browning, but since this model was converted from Mk.III kit, it would mean, that I have to rework not only those obvious differencies between these two versions, but some interior details as well. For example part of observer's cockpit and this Lewis mount and all around... It seemed to me like too much of hassle for no visible result and I think, that this "new" gun looks much better than some WWI relic.
And this is next pert of this hobby I like, "modeller's licence".

I am not loosing my heart. I am building not to be the best or most accurate, but for pleasure. And I am showing my kits in hope, that somebody will do it better. And to be perfectly honest I can't wait to see I.A.C. models perfectly made by irish modellers... Anyway this is for longer conversation... And I have go to watch "Ghostboat"  '<img'>
