Not only Norway, Frank.

Normaly Denmark and Belgium are participating in that as well.
It has happend that during the FWIT a lot of "adversaries"came around like F-14D, Mirage 2000-5, Tornados F.3, JAS 39 Gripen, Finish AF F-18's etc, etc.

Keep in mind that Leeuwarden is the most important Base in the country and has contacts all over the world as 323 Sqn ( based there ) is our TacTess unit

BTW,
Which hotel are you stayin' in?

indeed it is Flame.

It'll take you about 1 1/2 hour to get to Leeuwarden but be carefull.
Traffic around the Open dagen are hell !!!!.

Be there approx 07:30 in the morning if you take a car.
There will be free busses from Central Station Leeuwarden to the airshow but these are packed !!!

The Czech AF will attend on the airshow with their new JAS-39C Gripen, Mi-24 Hind and L-159 trainer.
The support will be an An-26 which most likely will stay during the weekend for the static display.
