The IAC Gulfstream carrying Bertie Ahern was struck by lightning on approach to Belfast City Airport.

Irish Aviation History / Info on EI-DUI Please

I took a few pics of EI-DUI on a recent visit to Enniskillen Airport-alas I can`t find any info on the aircraft!
It doesn`t appear to be on the Irish Regisiter but I do know it was for sale recently.

I believe it is a Piper Commanche of some sort but I maybe wrong (Not great on light aircraft identification).

Any help would be very useful-thank you.

Irish Air Shows / Salthill 2008

This may have been covered elsewhere but I am new here so be gentle if I missed it
Does anyone know why Salthill Airshow has been cancelled? Surely not due to the Merlin incident I hope!

It generates a lot of money for the town so it seems crazy to put an end to it.
