Sad sad news indeed....The Borough Council have done a brillant job over the years to make this event such a great success.

Maybe next year....

The Airshows at Newtownards and Enniskillen seem to have disappeared as well,so it looks like Northern Ireland has lost all it`s airshows :thumbsdown:

Newtownards/Enniskillen was to be a bi-annual event last time I heard,but the idea seems to have been forgotton about;real shame as both airfields seem to be doing well,with development at both.

Enniskillen 1998 was the outstanding show at St Angelo, Constellation N474TW, the BoB Flight Lanc/Spitfire/Hurricane/Dak, Avro Avian, New Zealand Strikemaster, a brace of Harriers, T-28 Trojan, Yak-18, Antonov 2 & L-29 Delfin  :bowdown:

After the show the Connie did a few circuits. Each approach bringing it in low over the houses. I had 3 of my sons with me & they still talk about it to this day !
