There was a CASA out so I can only assume the 'jet' part was to differentiate.
 One guy said ge could hear jets above (an escort) but personally Id say it was stuff high coming out of EIDW, didn't sound throaty enough to be frontliners.
BTW: I believe Lady GaGa used the same aircraft only yesterday!!!

  One thinks there was a bit of top cover going on alright. Hens the slightly odd  c/s or maybe not? I did see it with the old mark one eye ball! for the last few miles ‘Jet 253’ was on its own! As ‘Thurian’ said. 'C-253 was out and about at the same time.

The callsign was the usual one used by this operator, Cello Aviation.  It's "Cellojet", three-letter code CLJ.  The "253" was just coincidence, I'd say.  It's common enough for airctaft with similar callsigns to end up under the control of the same ATC unit and it's ATC's job to make sure no confusion occurs as regards instructions to each aircraft.
