Aviation News / Aer Arann/Aer Lingus

Aer Arann will operate a number of franchise routes under the Aer Lingus Regional brand. Four aircraft, the 72-500’s, will be painted in full Aer Lingus livery with the addition of the phrase ‘Operated by Aer Arann’.
Aer Arann to get 3 further ATR 72-212 (200) which will supplement the four going to lingus.

Aer Lingus Regional – Operated by Aer Arann – Route Network

Dublin to

Glasgow International, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Blackpool, Doncaster/Sheffield and Durham Tees Valley

Cork to

Glasgow International, Edinburgh, Bristol, Cardiff, Jersey (seasonal) La Rochelle (Seasonal).

In relation to the poll on a new air corps base,this will never happen as land prices and finding locations would just be impossible.

Any of the 55th class out there it will be 15 years since we joined in 2006,maybe we should meet up again,that class made history within the corps by been the first appt class with females.Long live the corps.

Irish Air Corps / Baldonnel The Future

With the large aerodrome that is Baldonnel,with Dublin Airport not able to cope, will there be a day that Baldonnel will be a second Airport for Dublin,look at other major cities?Will it work,with the new roads and infastructure around the Don i  think it is not far away?
