Salthill.....Well?

Well, how was it? Details please for those who had to work on the east coast!

RTE news website report quote: 'The RAF's Red Arrows were one of the main highlights but high speed aerial displays by US and Irish airforce jets also proved strong attractions.'- didn't know the US airforce were participating?! and I haven't heard the GIV or the learjet referred to as 'Irish airforce jets' before or were they actually RAF jets masquerading as Irish jets in the RTE pressroom?

Not a bad show, not quite as good as last year but nice to hear the reactions to the Dead Sparrows instead of the usual enthusiast moaning when ever they appear at UK shows.Salthill airshow Galway yesterday new camera so I am not used to it yet.

Again excellent shots. Is that a crewman sitting on the ramp of the CASA?

There's actually two guys on the back ramp of the CASA and one in the bubble window on the left of the shot taking pictures........
