EI-BXO was owned by Gerry Connolly, Avair founder. Aircraft is believed currently stored in the Dublin area.

How many of you noticed the photo of the Potez-Heinkel Magister CM-191 in the photo database ? It's very much a 4 seat civil Magister !

Sometimes referred to as the "Four Seat Fouga" or the "Magister 3". Only 2 were built.

The Curragh is Ranger HQ & the AW.139's are what they have been waiting for, so the stop off @ the Curragh Camp may have been connected.

Following info sent by SD Gironde, France :

"Yesterday evening IRL245 (Lj-45) arrived at Brest and it looked like  they would stay for another night. But at 00.20h LT both choppers  took of and headed toward LND (Land's End) and this while the wind  was very strong last night (especially above sea)!

If everything went ok they should arrive today at Casement."

The RAF Museum @ Hendon does not allow flash photography either (at least not the last time I visited).

BTW Still on the subject of IAC aircraft in museums, I put a shot of ex IAC Dove 194 up a few weeks back :

Hi 202,

This is the latest I have from an email on another list :

"Both choppers are delayed again. Around noon a flight plan was filed
for 15.00h but again they didn't show up. I don't know what happened
but I think we could conclude something went wrong with one of the
machines as one AW-139 is expected at Brest 17.00h and the second at
18.30h (filed 14.30h).

A hour ago an IAC Beech 200 (IRL240) arrived at Brest so I think
they will make a night stop as no departure flight is scheduled yet.

For all of you who mailed me, here my answer: due bad weather they
diverted to Castelnaudary aerodrome yesterday! "

Hi Joe,
Is the 350 not a single engine machine?
How does this tally with Commercial Air Transport requirements for pax carrying flights over water?
ST

Apologies for typo ST, the PDG aircraft is the AS.355, I think they have 3 of them.

Twin Squirrel from some Scottish Company has performed the role also.

Lude,

This aircraft is supplied by PDG Helicopters (PLM/Dollar Group) based at Inverness-Dalcross, parent company for IHL, when the IHL AS.350 is otherwise engaged.

Regards,

Joe
