This info just received from another group (MSF) :

"Today two IAC AW-139 made a fuel stop at Marseille (coming from Vergiate). Next stop is Bordeaux. Serials should be 274 and 275."

Joe

Hi Pilatus,

Seems they are overnighting in France, they didnt make it to Brest today due weather, so arrival Casement may be delayed until Wednesday.

Hi 202,

This is the latest I have from an email on another list :

"Both choppers are delayed again. Around noon a flight plan was filed
for 15.00h but again they didn't show up. I don't know what happened
but I think we could conclude something went wrong with one of the
machines as one AW-139 is expected at Brest 17.00h and the second at
18.30h (filed 14.30h).

A hour ago an IAC Beech 200 (IRL240) arrived at Brest so I think
they will make a night stop as no departure flight is scheduled yet.

For all of you who mailed me, here my answer: due bad weather they
diverted to Castelnaudary aerodrome yesterday! "

Hi Joe,
Great info on the aircrafts progress.
Just wondering if you know why the SKA is in Brest, is it service support?
Also do you know if the aircraft are filing IFR or VFR and generally as a pair or singletons.
Had a look at the weather at LFMK yesterday (close to Castlenaudry) looks pretty murky around there.
Could be the reason for the diversion.

Following info sent by SD Gironde, France :

"Yesterday evening IRL245 (Lj-45) arrived at Brest and it looked like  they would stay for another night. But at 00.20h LT both choppers  took of and headed toward LND (Land's End) and this while the wind  was very strong last night (especially above sea)!

If everything went ok they should arrive today at Casement."
