Looks nice but it will never have the ''Marine One'' call sign.....

The President’s Marine helicopter squadron received the first of 12 MV-22 Ospreys on April 5, although the president will not be traveling aboard the tilt-rotor aircraft with the checkered early flight history.

The Ospreys that join the Marine Helicopter Squadron One fleet will carry presidential support staff and the media rather than the President of the United States.

So if they were a pair it would be Wolf unless of course you heard Medevac 112 which was also busy that night.

I didnt hear them myself but a couple of friends from NI told me they heard them using the ''Wolf'' callsign  whille they were up there.....

Aviation News / Re: USS Enterprise to visit Dublin?

I think it's only ships carrying nuclear waste that are not allowed in Irish waters, But as the date of the proposed visit of the Big E is still 5 month's away I think the old saying ''Time will tell'' is appropriate in this case ...

Can't see it happening as Nuclear Vessels aren't allowed in Irish waters

Thats a pity...  I cant find any mention of that law about them being banned from Irish waters, any chance you could post a link??
All I can find is the Harbour act that stops a nuclear powered or armed vessel entering a port or harbour, and I don't think that would apply to the Enterprise as she's too big to enter Dublin port...
