Im planning to travel up from Dublin will it be a case of leaving my house at " ridiculous O Clock to get there ?
-
I will be coming from Kildare and plan on leaving early. It took me around 2hrs last year but I expect the traffic to be a lot heavier this year with the reds and the Vulcan coming , I used the park and ride at Nortfield and found it very well run with very regular transfers to near the town center.
Miss demenour,s display is worth attending for as well.

The flight past at 1pm will be air corps AW139, AAC gazalle and also a Merlin.
Just keeps getting better :)

Vulcan is the last and looks like the Red Arrows may stick around too I'd love to see a Vulcan/Reds formation
On the weather.. Other forums are quoting that there may be some showers I'd wait until Sat morning to check
I'd be more concerned about the UK weather on the day that's what could
Effect the Dakota and sabre getting of the ground regardless of the Down region
Roll on Sat

Would be nice to see the red and Vulcan join up.
Would also be nice to see the Dakota as didnt make it last year all dependent on the weather.
Fingers crossed that all we may get is light showers.

I'm traveling from Dublin via M1 towards Newry I was told from another forum when traveling from newary to avoid
Castlewellan road or surrounding area because most traffic will build up on Castlewellan road the member seemed to know the area well
Just wondering this is my first time to travel to Newcastle are the "Park n Ride Signs en route well signposted
 ???
-
Dont really know the place myself but park and ride was signposted last year and should be better this year.
Weather looking OK, and Sabre had a practice earlier.

Thanks Frank
The grey skies played havoc with the T6 Texan shots :banghead:
Ill have to get my head around using "histograms" and exposure settings and all that jargon ???
The Mourne Valley "run ins" where spectacular just a shame I hadn't got a decent camera and lens :duh:
Ill post up more not great though ....

The arrival made by the Sabre wasn't too shabby either!
