hi lads i know this really hasnt much to do with aircorps but i seen few of yous posting about airfix aircraft and some of you doing irish aircorps airfix and i seen this yesturday in dundrum town centre while shopping an i though id share it if any off yous are intrest  this is the first time i ve personaly ever seen a airfix model of the irish aircorps that comes with the aircorps decals and paint sceme i always had to buy mine in town...............


its a hurricane mark lls

and you can buy this in hanileys toy store in dundrum

hi lads at 15.35 a Cessna 172 and ec 135 where in formation over tallaght then they broke off the Cessna 172 heading back to casment and doing a holding pattern then the ec 135 decented and done a a few fly bys ofthe square and heads back to casment the Cessna 172 is still out flying was this a photo shoot or something  and info be great thanks................. :airforce_huh:

Air Corps complete Air Ambulance mission from UK to Dublin
 
 
An Air Corps Casa aircraft completed the transfer of a patient from a London hospital to Our Lady Children’s Hospital, Crumlin tonight.
 
 
The aircraft collected the patient at Luton Airport, London from where they were transferred to Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel and then by road to Our Lady Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
 
This was the 67th Air Ambulance mission completed by the Air Corps so far this year.

Irish Air Corps / Air Corps complete Air Ambulance mission

An Air Corps AW 139 helicopter has completed the transfer of a patient from Castlebar to Cork tonight.
The Air Corps helicopter collected the patient and medical team at 4.50pm in Castlebar and transferred them to Cork completing the mission at 6.15pm.
 
The mission was completed using specialist Night Vision Goggles (NVG).
This is the 66th Air Ambulance mission carried out by the Air Corps so far this year.
Note to Editors:
 
Air Corps pilots are the only pilots within the state with the capability to fly using NVG.

Irish Air Corps / irish aircorps recruits

Congratulations to the 14th Air Corps recruit platoon who began their training in the Irish Defence Forces yesterday. The 39 recruits were joined by their families for an orientation of Casement Aerodrome and an introduction to the Defence Forces before signing an allegiance to serve the Irish State and starting their military career with the Air Corps

An Air Corps CASA Maritime Surveillance aircraft has joined the search for missing persons after a cargo ship sunk in the Irish Sea.
 
The Air Corps responded to the request from the Coastguard to assist in the search and diverted the aircraft from an ongoing Maritime Patrol.
 
The aircraft arrived on scene at 1.15pm.

Naval Service ship joins search for missing crewmen in Irish Sea
 
The Naval Service ship LE Roisin has joined the search for missing crewmen after a cargo ship sunk in the Irish Sea.
 
The Naval Service responded to the request from the Coastguard to assist in the search and diverted the ship from Dublin Bay.
 
The ship departed Dublin Bay at approx 2.00pm for the search area.
 
An Air Corps CASA aircraft is already on scene assisting with the search
