I'm open to correction but I'm nearly 100% sure they've done that trip in winter many a time!

I assume that all participants will be departing and arriving from Dublin Airport and if so, it  would be worth heading over to Dublin airport on the day to capture good shots of the display aircraft rather than making the trip to the city

Depending on the aircraft, it's possible that Weston or Baldonnel may be used and some aircraft might just fly by without landing in Ireland at all.

See the Sally B is listed as departing on the 14th, so presume she'll be over-nighting in Ireland somewhere. This could be a nice little event. Not knowing Dublin that well, where would people suggest the best place to view would be? Also, are there Height restrictions over Dublin for flypasts like there are in London where the aircraft are so high that they don't make for great photos. I totally see that this event is not just for photographers so I'm not complaining, just asking, because it maybe better to go to where some are to be based.

Will be nice if they all turn up and maybe worth a trip across the country. Problem is, I think caution should be exercised as none have been confirmed as participants. It says at the top "We are delighted to confirm* that the following aircraft have all been invited to participate at FlightFest"

Always with the negativity!

 :airforce_tongue:

Haha! I really hope everything and more there turn up and it all goes well.

Definitely something about these that I really like. Like the US type colour scheme as well, just my opinion, wouldn't suit all. See the RAF are calling them Airseekers.

frustratingly slow this year with the up dates, sign of the times I suppose and I'm sure that everyone concerned is doing their best to provide the best show possible. I suppose as it stands it would be a superb show any where in Ireland. I'm still going whatever turns up, everything booked and paid for.
