Does anyone have any update on John's funeral. so far we have been told that there will be a second post mortum in Nigeria but we need to verify this .

im sure a lot of old Fighter Sqdn crew -(and me aswell!!) would be happy to give time and whatever it takes to to get a fouga airbourn again. also there was one in Toughers in nass/newbridge, I dont know what the final outcome was but he was trying to get it in the air some years ago. :devil:

its that time of year again for the brothers to get together.This year we are lining out in Waterford-land of the half door and good large bottles!!-. Down to the Clonea Strand Hotel to be exact, so if anyone is around there on 4th October you are welcome to join us for a hot cup of Horlicks and a game of Don.

pity I missed the session -down to some classic planning on my part!!-Mick dropped in before going home to OZ and got the full sixpenny tour of LTAI. the photos of the night look great-maybe some can make it to this site -I'm sure some of the punters would like a look. '<img'>

hi Williamdj-some great photos there. Steve Power looked his usual 'fat' self and Ulick was looking as flash as ever!!!
thanks for the 'young lad' remark-makes me feel better already!!!
John K as the film said-'build it and they will come' if you want a session you will have to organise it yourself and the bodies will turn up.Failing that we have a reunion every year-come along for a few pints and a natter and I promise you we will not bring the polish!!!  'yikes'

Hi Jonnie
I thought you would have a bit of respect for your elders. Dont mind him UK, but be carefull the zimmer frames dont get stuck in the carpets. (and dont forget to get the plastic sheets!)

PS if anyone is in the Dungarvan area on the 14th Oct. us young 50 somethings (37th class) will be having a few lemonades in the Mill House Hotel-drop in and we can all sit around and tell some lies.

Just to inform anyone who dosnt know that Joe Cronin -36th apprentice class, died suddenly on Sunday after completing a 10k run in Dublin. Joe was late of Heli flight and Airmotive and will be sadly missed by all his many friends and past comrads.
On behalf of all the members I would like to convay our condolances to Joe's family.

sorry for not getting back sooner but I took a little break. There are still a few of us left in Airmotive Maggot, myself, jimmy (chris)Collins-he did a stint in BA as well, Joe Cronin, Greaser (young) Tarzan, Benny Roycroft, UK Daly, Black Sully I think thats about it but there may be more-memory loss!!!
How are things with all you lads
Question-does anybody have Dick Wixted's e-mail I had it and lost it-if anyone has it email it to me please.
