f-18s',F-16's,f-15's,f-14,s,a-10's (a personal favourite),viggens,tornados.........depends what your definition of exotic is,of course the above are just a few of a big list from airshows,j.f.k visit etc. I'm sure a few of the lads on this site will have more exotics examples than the above mentioned...

Never heard of a Flanker or a Fulcrum for that matter, there was some Mexican Navy CASA 212's a few months back as was an exotic DC-3 / Basler coversion (Mauritanian Air Force?) sometime this year as well.

Pilatus

Shannon definitely cannot take B-52s - that is a media myth.  They require particularly wide taxiways etc. because of the outrigger wheels under the outer wings.

----

Five former French AF Douglas Skyraiders passed thru Dublin airport in 1977 after being sold on the civilian market in the USA.  Technically no longer military but they were very memorable for those who witnessed them.

Shannon Airport hosted some rare military types in the 1950s, when diversions for technical reasons were required.  Among the visitors were a USAF B-47 and I think some F-100s.  It all depends how far back you want to go and what is meant by "exotic".
