RNZAF -757 Cancelled, due to operational commitments apparently :airforce_cry:. Such a shame after last years super display. First cancellation, hopefully there won't be too many.

That's a shame  :airforce_cry:

My older brother is travelling along with me  this year and i was banging on about the 757 display
Anyway there is still the A400M  to look forward too :buttrock:

On a slightly different but relevant to this post  note :

Aer Lingus Regional have announced that they are to open up new routes from Shannon among the new routes is Bristol starting July

As your probably aware Ryanair suspended routes to bristol last year so any member who in the past used Shannon as point of departure and are still   planning to travel to RIAT this year and have not yet booked flights should look up Aer Lingus Regional  for Scheduled Departure  times

This may save a lot of time and expense

Yeh, Joey, I read about that last week, unfortunately we already have our flights booked to Heathrow. It is still only about 2 hours from airport to B&B so not that much difference. Aer Lingus Regional will be something we can bear in mind for next year.

Terrible to see two of the major stars of this year being lost. Both the Romanian Mig 21's and the Sri Lankan AN32B have cancelled  :( :banghead:

Strange to see the cancelled RNZAF 757 still on the site despite the update, But the migs have been removed  from the site i thought the updates would have included cancelations aswell ? maybe a change of heart perhaps by the RNZAF ?

Yeh, Joey, rge RNZAF 757 is still there and I heard rumours that it it is still coming, but cancelled at Waddo. Not sure how much truth there is in that, we will have to wait and keep our fingers crossed. Still no word on the Vulcan, they were suppose to be flying this year?

USAF F-15 Strike Eagle (F)
Tornado F3 (F)

The above additions maybe part of the planned BoB flypast

  more positive news is the
The RNZAF 757-200  may still be displaying
I guess there's no time to find a replacment for the Migs at this late stage...

Apparently, the Vulcan has not flown this year at all yet due to yet more technical difficulties. She is back on her undercarriage again and engine runs are due in the next couple of days. She is out for Waddo as that is this weekend, but there is still hope for RIAT. I heard something through the grapevine that there will be no Irish aircraft there this year, again not sure of how true that is, but we can only but keep our fingers crossed.
