Just a few interesting points today

The Arab League 'going wobbly' is no great surprise. It is a bit late to put the toothpaste back in the tube now, and extremely naive of them.
The Danish have flown their first missions according to reports, reports from Al Jazeera that Qatari jets are already over Libya and the UAE have as well already deployed to Italy
Belgian and Norwegian a/c to join the task force on Monday

Turkey want NATO to review planning of Air Strikes as it goes against Diplomatic something or another. Cyprus are opposed to the British using bases on the island, but are powerless to stop them.
UK MOD announced RAF Tornadoes will be based at Gioia del Colle, Italy shortly.

Meanwhile aircraft from the United Arab Emirates were due to arrive on Sunday (today) at the Decimomannu air force base on the Italian island of Sardinia, which is already hosting four Spanish F-18 fighter jets that arrived on Saturday.

Italian Defence Minister Ignazio La Russa said Rome also assigned eight combat aircraft, including four Tornado jets, for the operation and they can be used "at any time".

And British Defence Secretary Liam Fox said Typhoon and Tornado jets would fly this weekend to the Gioia del Colle air base in southern Italy, where they will be ready to deploy as part of the mission dubbed Operation Ellamy

F-15 E based at Lakenheath (LN) serial ‘304’ w/o.

USS MOUNT WHITNEY, Mediterranean Sea – Two crew members ejected from their U.S. Air
Force F-15E Strike Eagle when the aircraft experienced equipment malfunction over northeast,
Libya, March 21, at approximately 10:30 p.m. CET.
Both crew members ejected and are safe.
The aircraft, based out of Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, was flying out of Aviano Air
Base in support of Operation Odyssey Dawn at the time of the incident.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
The identities will be released after the next of kin have been notified.
Joint Task Force Odyssey Dawn is the U.S. Africa Command task force established to provide
operational and tactical command and control of U.S. military forces supporting the international
response to the unrest in Libya and enforcement of United Nations Security Council Resolution
(UNSCR) 1973. UNSCR 1973 authorizes all necessary measures to protect civilians in Libya under
threat of attack by Qadhafi regime forces.
Sad to see the wreckage of the LN F-15E on the TV, Pleased the F15 crew are safe and sound, looked from the images on the beeb at lunchtime that the serial ended in '304' if that is of help to anyone, amazing the airframe is still somewhat intact...
I was very surprised to see that the aircraft is still as complete as it is after crashing, it must have floated or glided down to the ground as most fast jet crashes leave nothing more than small bits & pieces. Surely it must now be a target itself, although that’s probably a bit difficult with the Rebels climbing all over it.
A few photos of the wreckage: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/picturegalleries/worldnews/8397634/Libyan-residents-discover-wreckage-of-US-plane.html

What's surprised me a little about the pictures and video of the crash site is, given the state of the remaining structure, there's no sign of compressor disks from the engines in the wreckage.

I read in a paper today that 4 x Qatari jets were "blown off course" and refused permission to land in Cyprus. However, having run low on fuel, they were allowed to land there and re-fuel, and they then departed to Cyprus(?).

Any truth in this story?

Gaddafi has spoken to his crowd outside his compound tonight, stating he will win the war. Extremely short speech, has probably calculated the time it takes for a Tomahawk to reach that sort of distance. He should get a stop watch so he can leg it!  Any way the war news! This list has come from some of my friends in low places; there is some amount of Aviation hard ware being used to put Mr Gaddafi back in his box!. You my need to lie down after Reading this list!
