Wrecks and Relics in Dublin Area
« on: April 26, 2012, 07:30:28 pm »
Hi,

A few friends are over from the UK next week and are interested in photographing any wrecks or relics in the Dublin Area.

Other than the Magister at Bolton street, I'm not sure of any others. If anyone has any suggesting, I'd be most grateful.

There is a PBY-5A and a Buccaneer at Weston, though they are pretty-well out of photography range AFAIK.  There are a couple of aircraft at the National Museum in Collins Barracks, though museum copyright rules mean that photography is prohibited. ???

There is a Danish Hawker Hunter at Pudden Hill outdoor activity centre near Ashbourne, at 53 35'09.35"N 06 25'41.84"W.

Hi Tony,

I haven't seen it but I was told the apprentice school at Bolton Street had one.

Hope I wasn't mis-informed
