GASU EC-135 1:48 scale model
« on: December 20, 2004, 09:50:46 pm »
My nephew bought a 1:48 'scale model' of the GASU EC-135 in a euro shop.
(Has a livery similar to original 255, but ok for €2.)

Anybody else here seen it ?

Incidentially, are there any other (already assembled) Air Corps/GASU models about  ?

Which shop Silver?

As for GASU models, I am aware of none. A friend of mine wanted to do a Squirrel in GASU colours, but could not get an AS355N model, only an F1 or F2. As for Defender and 135'<img'>? Not a hope!

The Euroshop, Level 1, the Square, Tallaght.

I guess that any euroshop outlet around the country may have them also.

The details of the heli are not exactly accurate - they have a livery like 255's original style - but for €2 it's not bad !

I would like to get a couple of AC scale models, like a Fouga for example.

However, I'm only interested in buying a 'ready to display' model - my model building skills are nil '<img'>

Anybody here ever come across ANY such AC model aircraft ?
