Flight To Depart On Friday With WWII, Korea And Vietnam Vets On Board On Friday, Honor Flight Austin will depart Austin-Bergstrom International Airport for a special flight to Washington D.C. The flight will transport 34 Austin-area World War II, Korean and Vietnam War veterans to the nation’s capital to visit and experience the memorials built in their honor. This is the 46th Austin Honor Flight to date, and the sixth this year.
