Hallo everybody,
there are some problems on the "contents" page, which is gate to all other pages. This problem is on web host side and I can't do nothing about it. It happened before and I am very seriously thinking about to change web service provider...
But try this:

http://wsmc.irishost.net/clubnews.htm

or

http://wsmc.irishost.net/colour_profiles.htm

apologies for trouble caused...

Filip

OK thanks, I have both planes on my "to do" list of kits and I will do some colour profiles on them for Wicklow Scale Modelling Club web page - http://wsmc.irishost.net/ so I am trying to get and cross check all informations I can get...

About Se5: It would be great to know a little bit from its previous history - original RAF squadron, that would be the best, since there are some colourful camos in "home defence sector" back in 1918, so some of them could survive till 20's

Irish Air Corps / Should the Air Corps get interceptor Jets?

I am glad to hear about the Czech Air Force as it is my "home country". But the main difference between Ireland and Czechland is: over there was always very high public opinion on the armed forces in general - most of men were in the armed forces at some stage of their life.
And I remember discussions about new fighters, goverment wanted to go ahead with F-16's, but public and military pressed and Finaly there they are brand new Grippens, which will serve for 30 + years.
Next thing is money, Ok, but c'mon look at the budget millions here millions there, wasting on some stupid project, which will never work properly anyway 'vomit'
But first of all we need some consolidation of IAC, I think.

I wonder if there's somebody, who made a reaserch or knows something about
- R.A.F. SE 5A colour scheme in which it -allegedly- should served with Irish Air Corps in 1923. This all red - silver wings seems to me as a highly speculative scheme

- Lockheed Hudson Mk.I IAC No.91. What colour scheme and registration it wore after sold to Aer Lingus in august 1945? '<img'>
