According to Sky news, there were AC130 gun ships there for cover as well. Means the yanks were in on it as well if that is the case.

Just that there is a IAC PC-9 at Beauvechain International Air Show this weekend. It's 262 as seen here http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=24603#p245320

Shame they can't send anything to RIAT especially as there is a specially Battle of Britain fly past for countries that partook in it.

The Vulcan is flying at Waddo, but not landing. That means that I would think now that she will be at RIAT and hopefully taking off and landing.

I think there is a very good chance but don't want to jinx it.

Apparently, the Vulcan has not flown this year at all yet due to yet more technical difficulties. She is back on her undercarriage again and engine runs are due in the next couple of days. She is out for Waddo as that is this weekend, but there is still hope for RIAT. I heard something through the grapevine that there will be no Irish aircraft there this year, again not sure of how true that is, but we can only but keep our fingers crossed.

Yeh, Joey, rge RNZAF 757 is still there and I heard rumours that it it is still coming, but cancelled at Waddo. Not sure how much truth there is in that, we will have to wait and keep our fingers crossed. Still no word on the Vulcan, they were suppose to be flying this year?

Terrible to see two of the major stars of this year being lost. Both the Romanian Mig 21's and the Sri Lankan AN32B have cancelled  :( :banghead:

Yeh, Joey, I read about that last week, unfortunately we already have our flights booked to Heathrow. It is still only about 2 hours from airport to B&B so not that much difference. Aer Lingus Regional will be something we can bear in mind for next year.

RNZAF -757 Cancelled, due to operational commitments apparently :airforce_cry:. Such a shame after last years super display. First cancellation, hopefully there won't be too many.

Site Information / Re: To watermark or not to watermark
« on: May 30, 2010, 07:29:56 pm »
Good idea Frank about the watermark.  I think the compromise with members being able to view photos without the watermark is best.

I don't think that will solve anything because anyone that wanted the pictures just has to become a member. Maybe watermark free to anyone that has pictures posted, if that were possible.
