What a waste. Paint them green and let the army have some airtime with them.

Thanks Tony. They look very sad and unwanted there all lined up together. What a shame there is no further use for them. '<img'>

You are always welcome Flyboy. Yes it is sad to see them there but what a service record they hold and most important the  number of lives saved and they never killed any crews. Surely a tribute also to those who flew and serviced them.

Joe, I really do not know at this stage as I have not been in touch. I would imagine it is now up to the Dept of Defence who would initiate their sale.

Asked in the Dail last week. It seems the sale will go to tender, same as was done with the Dauphins. Possibly a good chance they'll end up stayin here under private ownership, with heli ownership becoming so popular these days.

Now that would be nice if even one was kept in IAC Colours and a very very small EI reg on it..

I know a very stupid question, but just for reference sake. I read(I think) the four Dauphins were sold for less they 500k. How much would one A111 go for? at a guess.

Would they sell them individually or would who ever offers to buy them all get preference.. Because at around 30k+ each they migth not be a bad price :airplane:.
