RIP Donal MacCarron

I've been informed that Donal MacCarron, the author of "Wings Over Ireland - The story of the Irish Air Corps" and "A View From Above - 200 Years of Aviation in Ireland" passed away on Thursday 2nd June 2011.

Sorry for the delay in reporting this, I only found out within the last few days.

I remember getting Wings over Ireland for Christmas and enjoyed it immensely.  I know certain people faulted his books for there inaccuracies.   However they still did a lot to promote the Air Corps and Irish Aviation in general.  RIP
